Kentucky Ethics Panel to Meet and Discuss Complaints

By Todd Hatton

Murray, KY – Kentucky's Executive Branch Ethics Commission could be briefed on high-profile allegations involving the Commonwealth's gubernatorial campaign next week. Republicans have filed ethics complaints about contributions from state employees to Democratic Governor Steve Beshear's campaign. Democrats allege in their own complaint Republican lieutenant gubernatorial candidate Richie Farmer used a state account to buy a small refrigerator for his home. The ethics panel is scheduled to meet Monday.
