Keep It Local Has the Signatures

By Angela Hatton

Murray, KY – Murray's Keep It Local group has reached their signature goal in a petition to get package alcohol sales inside city limits. Organizer Boone Chambers says as of this afternoon, the group had gathered fourteen-hundred seventy-five names, fifty over the required amount. Chambers says he'd like to have more to make up for any voters that are declared invalid. Keep It Local volunteers plan to canvas the area for more signatures today. Chambers will turn in the petition to the Calloway County Clerk tomorrow at 3 PM.
