Juvenile Charged with Felonies for Shooting at Montgomery Co. Sheriff's Deputy

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is investigating an incident in which a juvenile shot multiple rounds at a deputy. 

Around midnight Friday, Deputy Adam Liberatore pulled into a parking lot to assess a suspicious vehicle and the vehicle drove off at a high speed. Liberatore attempted a traffic stop for speeding when the front passenger began firing at him. The deputy did not return fire. No one was injured during the shooting.

Officers arrested three juveniles and one adult and found two semiautomatic pistols, body armor, and 30 rounds of ammunition in the vehicle. The adult passenger, 18 year-old Drake Hairrell, is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The driver is charged with felony evading arrest and felony reckless endangerment. The shooter is charged with felony reckless endangerment and felony aggravated assault. The other juvenile was cited for curfew violation and released to his parents.
