Elkton, KY – Todd County businessman Bill Johnson is considering a run for Kentucky governor. Johnson says he will consider running next year if he builds enough support and money. He says a grassroots organization of a few acquaintances approached him about seeking the state's highest office. They have started a group on the social networking site Facebook supporting Johnson. He says if membership grows to fifteen hundred, he will consider joining the race. Over four hundred people have joined the group since Monday. Johnson was running in the Republican primary for the seat held by Senator Jim Bunning, but dropped out of the race.
