Second Lady of the United States Jill Biden will deliver the commencement address to Owensboro Community & Technical College graduates on Tuesday, May 13.
Biden’s address comes just weeks after she visited the region with First Lady Michelle Obama to announce a new military jobs assistance website at Fort Campbell.
Biden has been an educator for more than 30 years and still teaches full time at a community college in Virginia.
Tickets to the commencement are free and available to the public. Tickets are allocated to graduates and their families first, then by request. Community members and media with ticket requests should contact Bernie Hale at bernie.hale@kctcs.edu or call 270-686-4506.
