Iron Kettle Reconstruction
By Angela Hatton
Grand Rivers, KY – Patti's 1880's Settlement owners in Grand Rivers hope to have the Iron Kettle restaurant up and running again next year. Fire destroyed the restaurant in April. Owner Chip Tullar tells the Paducah Sun construction could begin in a few months at a new location across the street from Lighthouse Landing Resort and Marina. Negotiations with insurers have delayed the construction work. Tullar says the old Iron Kettle amounted to about one million dollars in annual sales and hopes the new building will attract even more customers.
