Murray, KY – Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear joined community leaders and officials at two Hopkinsville plants to announce expansions. Amfine Chemical Corporation officials plan to update their current facility. The company will make additions to expand the plant by 2,000 square feet. The 2.7 million dollar investment will allow the company to maintain its existing 45 employees while adding 2 more hires. Douglas Autotech Corporation officials announced the company will expand its Christian County operation. The 17.3 million dollar investment will add nine new vehicle programs and create 65 new jobs.
