Madisonville, KY – The Hopkins County Humane Society board considered three proposals to change its bylaws at a meeting last night. The Madisonville Messenger reports a committee had been assigned the task of creating just one proposal, but after failing to agree, they each drafted an individual proposal. Board president Judy Lacy's proposal varied little from the current bylaws. The two other plans include measures for removing officers and for an annual audit. The group meets again October 6 to vote on the proposals.
