Murray, KY – Murray has a new mayor. Early this morning former Mayor Pro Tem Danny Hudspeth took the oath of office. According to the City Council office, sometime before 8am, Hudspeth was sworn in privately after a closed executive meeting chose him as the city's new Mayor. He will serve out the late Mayor Tom Rushing's term. Hudspeth has no current plans for a city-wide meeting.
