An all-day workshop gives people resources to run for local elected positions. Christian County Cares 2015 and The League of Women Voters host "Campaign School" all day this Saturday (October 26) at Hopkinsville Community College's Auditorium. It's a non-partisan, non-endorsing event with session topics including: Getting Your Political Start, Committing to Run, Learning the Numbers Game, Public Relations and Marketing, Secrets to Successful Campaigns, and Behavior and Ethics. Retired District Judge Peter MacDonald gives the keynote for the day and spoke with Kate Lochte about his experiences.
