How Much Screen Time is Too Much?

With the average American spending over half of their day looking at a screen, it's now hard to imagine a modern society without TVs, computers, or cell phones. Dr. Michael Bordieri visits Sounds Good to discuss the role of these devices in today's society, and whether there is ever "too much" screen time.

In 2016, the computer replaced the television as the most commonly owned device in the average American household. As devices grow more intricate and attention-grabbing, screens' place in modern society continues to evolve into a more present, and in some cases, dangerous, aspect of our lives.
MSU professor of psychology, Dr. Michael Bordieri, visited Sounds Good to discuss this cultural shift towards more screen time, and what that might mean for society in terms of both positive and negative outcomes.
