hoptown.org

The City of Hopkinsville is asking citizens to submit ideas to help name the city’s new public transportation system and develop its logo.

The city’s new transit system is scheduled to roll out services later this year.

In addition to a $200 prize, the winning logo may be featured on transit buses, system website and various promotional items.

"What better way to get the word out about this fantastic new city asset, than to offer the public an opportunity to help make the transit system its own," said Mayor Dan Kemp. "I continue to be impressed by the impressed by the inspired creations of our local artist community and can't wait to see what they come up with."

All logo entries must be the artist’s original work.  If chosen, the winning name and logo will become intellectual property of the city.

Interested artists should visit www.hoptown.org/transit to register and make contest submissions. Logo entries must be digitally submitted online by October 13.
