Two Hopkinsville artists are among nearly two dozen artists statewide whose work is represented in this year’s Governor’s Derby Exhibit.

Work by Betty Liles and Linda Pierce are now on display in the Capitol Rotunda in Frankfort. Liles’ work is an oil painting titled “Silver Bowl with Cherries” and Pierce’s work is an acrylic titled “Stepping Up” depicting a man on horseback.

The exhibit is coordinated by the Kentucky Arts Council. It is on display through May 7. The council celebrates their 50th anniversary this year.
