Hopkins Co. EMA Director Steps Down

By Carrie Pond

Madisonville, KY – The Hopkins County Emergency Management Agency is seeking a new director. Judge-Executive Donnie Carroll says Broc Oglesby stepped down last week, citing health concerns and a desire to focus on his family. Oglesby had worked for the county for 19 years. Carroll says the county will begin advertising for the post next week. He says he hopes to fill the position by July. EMA deputy director Frank Wright has taken on the post in the interim.
