Dresden, TN – Tennessee State Senator and Congressional Democratic candidate Roy Herron has reported raising almost $700,000 for his campaign in less than a month. His campaign claims the amount breaks district records. Herron will likely face Republican Stephen Fincher, also reported to be well-funded. The two will vie for the eighth district seat in November, which is currently held by retiring Congressman John Tanner.
