Paris, TN – Henry County, Tennessee's unemployment rate lowered over last month, but is still almost three points above the state average. Over 1,700 workers are unemployed there, bringing the county's rate to 13%. While Henry's rate dipped slightly, neighboring Carroll County's rose a whole percentage point. According to the Paris Post Intelligencer, nearby Stewart and Benton Counties' jobless rates edged upwards by tenths of a point.
