Heath Middle School Gun Threat

Paducah, KY – A 12-year-old Heath Middle School student was arrested last night after he threatened to bring guns to school and shoot his classmates at an upcoming school function. McCracken County law enforcement officials took the student into custody last night and charged him with second degree Terroristic Threatening. McCracken County Schools spokesperson Cheryl Lawson says the school conducted a very thorough investigation of the threat and insures on-going steps are being taken to assure student safety. The student charged has been released to his parents.
