Paris, TN – Henry County High School's band director has died. Cordez Bacon died in a hospital in Madisonville, Kentucky. Principal Lennies McFerren says grief counseling is being provided to his band students through counselors and Band Booster parents. Bacon had been absent from school for several days with an unspecified illness. McFerren says Bacon was a fine band director who was very popular with his students.
