By Caleb Campbell

Hopkinsville, KY – Hopkinsville is launching an aggressive recruitment campaign to get inner-city residents into job training programs at Hopkinsville Community College. The city council could give the measure final approval March 2nd. HCC would offer most of the classes for free. The college has a 2-point-4 million grant from the U-S Department of Labor. Officials can use the money to offer free classes related to technology, manufacturing and management skills. The proposal also involves a 15 thousand dollar advertising campaign that will run from early April to mid-May.
