Gubernatorial Candidates to Speak in McCracken County

By Drew Adams

Murray, KY – Visitors to this weekend's annual St. John's picnic will get plenty of politics with their barbeque. Republican gubernatorial candidate David Williams and independent candidate Gatewood Galbraith will attend the McCracken County event, while Democratic Lieutenant Governor candidate Jerry Abramson will represent Governor Steve Beshear. No official reason has been given for the governor's absence. Attorney General candidates Todd P'Pool and Jack Conway say they'll be there as well, along with Agriculture Commissioner hopefuls Bob Farmer and James Comer.
