Frankfort, KY – Republican Senate candidate Trey Grayson has launched his first radio ad on conservative talk radio stations across Kentucky. In the ad, Grayson says he wants to stop wasteful spending in Washington and to keep the country safe from terrorists. Grayson, the state's secretary of state, is running for the Senate seat being vacated by Jim Bunning, who opted not to seek re-election to a third term. In the one-minute ad, Grayson boasts that he cut spending by 15 percent in the secretary of state's office by cutting bureaucrats and getting rid of BlackBerrys and cell phones. His chief GOP rival, Bowling Green eye surgeon Rand Paul, has already begun airing ads on cable television stations across the state.
