A Graves County air-compressor parts manufacturer plans to build a new $1 million factory in Mayfield.

LSK Inc.’s upcoming 10,800 square-foot plant is expected to bring about 10 new jobs to the area.

Company founder Cory Crowley began the business in 2003 and operates out of a shop near his home in Hickory.

“We are very happy that we were able to keep the company in Graves County since our customer base is located in the county," Crowley said in a statement. "The county officials have made this a very easy process and we believe this will take LSK Inc. to the next level.”

LSK has been approved for up to $200,000 in performance-based tax incentives from the Kentucky Business Investment program.

The company’s also eligible for Kentucky Skills Network assistance like recruiting services and job training incentives.
