Frankfort, KY – Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear is expected to choose in the next few days from a list of three people nominated to replace McCracken County Circuit Judge Jeff Hines. Commonwealth Attorney Tim Kaltenbach, public defender Chris McNeill and civil attorney Lanny King are the prospective appointees. Hines retired in January and has since worked part-time as a special judge filling vacancies and relieving a busy court docket.
