Murray, KY – Republican attorney general candidate Todd P'Pool has picked up another endorsement from a high-profile national Republican. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani told a Republican gathering in Louisville Wednesday the Kentucky attorney general's race carries national importance. Giuliani says that's because if P'Pool is elected, he'll add Kentucky to the list of states challenging President Barack Obama's federal health care law. Incumbent Democrat Attorney General Jack Conway has refused to join the legal challenge. Conway has tried to deflect P'Pool's attacks on the issue by saying he's focused on Kentucky-specific issues such as prescription pill abuse and Medicaid fraud. Giuliani told the GOP rally the health care law is a drag on the national economy.
