Murray, KY – A daughter of the late Gatewood Galbraith, who ran his fifth gubernatorial campaign last year, says a public celebration of his life is being held thisweek in Lexington. Molly Galbraith says the event will be held Thursday at the Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning. The event is open to anyone who wants to pay their respects to Galbraith. The 64-year-old lawyer and politician was known for his positions on limited government and legalizing marijuana. Galbraith died last Wednesday at his home in Lexington of complications from chronic emphysema.
