Fort Campbell, KY – Nearly 500 Fort Campbell soldiers are returning this week after a 12-month deployment to Afghanistan. The soldiers are members of the 159th Combat Aviation Brigade. Nearly 700 soldiers from the 159th returned earlier this month. The remainder of the brigade is expected to return by the end of the year. Ceremonies welcoming the soldiers are scheduled for this afternoon and Thursday morning.
