Former residents of the Stewart County, Tennessee portion of  Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area are gathering for their annual Homecoming this month.

The yearly reunion provides a chance for former Between the Rivers residents to celebrate and reminisce.

The Homecoming takes place Sunday, August 31st at the Bison Range Picnic Area. The picnic area is located south of The Homeplace on Woodlands Trace National Scenic Byway in Land Between The Lakes.

Those attending should bring food, beverages, lawn chairs, and any other picnic or recreation items they wish. Restrooms, picnic tables, and grills are provided.

A Homecoming is also planned for Lyon County, Kentucky former residents on September 20th at the Star Camp Picnic Area.
