Flood Warning in Paducah

Murray, KY – The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Ohio River at Paducah. The warning takes effect tomorrow evening and will be in place until the NWS issues an all clear. The flood stage for the Ohio is 39 feet, and the river was recorded at 37.2 feet overnight. Officials expect the river to hit flood stage by Tuesday evening and continue to rise to 40 feet by Friday morning. Low-lying areas are expected to experience minor flooding.
