UPDATE: 2:37 p.m.
The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Flash Flood warning for the WKMS listening area until late Monday afternoon. The NWS warns that backwater from some of the rivers in the region has already closed roads and cautions drivers to turn around when encountering the flooded crossings.
Between two to five inches of rain has fallen within the last few days, another one to three inches is expected in the warned areas.

Water Over Road Reports from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet:
McCracken County reports Water Over The Road on KY 131 from the 0 to 1 mile marker. This is in the Clarks River Bottom area at the McCracken-Graves County Line between Symsonia and Reidland. The water is only a few inches deep, but it is rising. KYTC personnel are monitoring the area.

Water Over Road signs are up at this time. This is along KY 54 in the Mill Creek Branch area between KY 2671/Friendship Rd and KY 69. KY 2270 has high water between the 2 and 3 mile marker. Signs have been posted to alert motorists.
