First Man Charged in Holly Bobo Death to be Tried in April

via Twitter

A 32-year-old man is scheduled to be the first of three suspects tried with murder in the kidnapping, rape and killing of a Tennessee nursing student Holly Bobo who disappeared more than five years ago.

Decatur County Judge Creed McGinley said Wednesday that Zachary Rye Adams' trial in the death of Bobo will occur in Hardin County because of the case's high profile.

Jury selection is April 3.

Prosecutors expect to then try Adams' brother, John Dylan Adams.

Jason Autry is not expected to go to trial until at least July.

Bobo was 20 when she disappeared from her home in Parsons in April 2011. Two men found her skull in a wooded area in Decatur County in September 2014.
