Fancy Farm's Wilson Demands Paul Apologize for Comments

By Chris Taylor

Fancy Farm, KY – Fancy Farm Picnic Chairman Mark Wilson wants Republican U.S. Senate candidate Rand Paul to apologize for inaccurate and disparaging comments he made on a national radio talk show. Paul's guest appearance on Fox Radio's "Sean Hannity Show" yesterday appalled Wilson. Paul described the picnic as a wild affair where partisan picnickers boo entire speeches and candidates must worry about people throwing beer on them. Wilson tells the Paducah Sun, the picnic doesn't even allow beer to be served and he isn't aware any objects have ever been thrown at a speaker. The annual picnic is sponsored by St. Jerome Catholic Church and this year it attracted over 10,000 people.
