Education Commissioner Announces Resignation

wkms – Kentucky's Education Commissioner Jon E. Draud says he intends to resign in early February. Draud, who suffered a stroke in September, took the helm as the commonwealth's fourth education commissioner a little more than a year ago. State school board Chairman Joe Brothers said he expects to call a special meeting in January to discuss plans for Draud's successor.
