East Kentucky Democrat Enters Race for State Treasurer

A State Representative from East Kentucky is the first Democrat to enter the race for state Treasurer.

Representative Rick Nelson is a Harlan County native and has represented the 87^th legislative district since 2001. Nelson is a retired school teacher. Current Treasurer Todd Hollenbach is serving his final term. Nelson is currently unopposed.
