Dunn to Interview for Illinois State Presidency Wednesday

Murray State University

Murray State President Dr. Randy Dunn will be in Normal, Illinois tomorrow for an interview to become Illinois State University president.  Dunn is one of four candidates for the position.  Youngstown State in Ohio has announced Dunn is among the three finalists for their presidency.  MSU Director of Community Relations Mark Welch says the three candidates will interview in Youngstown between May 1st and 3rd.  The Murray State Board of Regents opted not to renew Dunn’s contract in March.  His current contract with Murray State expires July 2014.

Todd Hatton hails from Paducah, Kentucky, where he got into radio under the auspices of the late, great John Stewart of WKYX while a student at Paducah Community College. He also worked at WKMS in the reel-to-reel tape days of the early 1990s before running off first to San Francisco, then Orlando in search of something to do when he grew up. He received his MFA in Creative Writing at Murray State University. He vigorously resists adulthood and watches his wife, Angela Hatton, save the world one plastic bottle at a time.
