Richmond, KY – Two physicians are in Kentucky's Gubernatorial Race: Incumbent Ernie Fletcher and Doctor Dan Mongiardo. The 47-year old Democrat from Hazard says his profession drove him into politics and into this year's race for Lieutenant Governor, alongside Democratic Nominee Steve Beshear. Kentucky Public Radio's Stu Johnson recently sat down with Mongiardo, hoping to get a feel for the man.
