Dodson to Cut Back on Weather Updates

A volunteer meteorologist in Paducah says he is cutting back on his weather coverage this year.

Beau Dodson has volunteered with the McCracken County Emergency Management Agency sending weather updates online, but says after a decade of service he will stop sending email updates for the agency.

Dodson also puts the updates on a weather facebook page, which he plans to continue doing. He says he is taking a break from the emergency management agency to pursue other passions and spend time with family during the next year.
