Metropolis, IL – Metropolis City Council named a new emergency coordinator on this week. Current Massac County 911 director Keith Davis has already started his duties. Davis says it's technically a three quarter time position, and he'll keep his current post at 911 services. The city historically partnered with the Massac County emergency management office, but realized the need for a city emergency representative after last year's ice storm.
