Kentucky Public Service Commissioner Linda Breathitt's father, the late Governor Edward T. "Ned" Breathitt, was newly in office for the 1964 March on Frankfort that was celebrated in a 50th Anniversary March today (March 5). Kate Lochte speaks with her about that time and today's march, 50 years later.

Kentucky Public Service Commissioner Linda Breathitt's father, the late Edward T. "Ned" Breathitt was a Hopkinsville native who served as Kentucky's governor from 1963 to 1967 after serving three terms in the Kentucky General Assembly. He passed away at age 78 in 2003 - after collapsing while giving a speech at a UK Lexington Community College event.
