Datebook: September 4 - Doggie Day Spa, Stroke Support Group, Banned Bookmark Battle

There’s a Doggie Day Spa on Saturday, September 13, from 9 to 2 at Carman Animal Health Center. Services offered include microchipping, baths, ear cleaning, and nail trimming. The Baptist Health Paducah Stroke Support Group meets Monday afternoon at 3 at the Baptist Heart Center conference room. The group provides support for stroke survivors and their caregivers, family, and friends. To register, call (270) 575-2880.

In honor of Banned Books Week, Graves County Public Library is holding a Banned Bookmark Battle. The library invites artists of all ages to submit artwork celebrating the freedom to read. To enter, create a 5”x7” work of art that is in some way inspired by a banned book and submit it to the library by September 17.
