Datebook: September 28 - Scramble for the Plunge, Boundaries Exhibit, Pet Calendar

Special Olympics Kentucky presents "Scramble for the Plunge" this Saturday morning at 8 at the Kentucky Dam Golf Course. The format is a four person scramble with all proceeds going to Marshall/Calloway Special Olympics. To register, call (270) 362-8658. 

The Trahern Gallery at Austin Peay State University presents "boundaries" featuring the work of Britney Jo Carroll. The exhibit explores the artist's dwelling places within the boundaries of social and gender stereotypes. There’s a lunchtime lecture and reception tomorrow from 11:30 to 1.

Wednesday is the deadline to submit photos of pets for The Humane Society of Calloway County’s 2016 Pet Calendar. Twelve photos will be chosen for special "Pet of the Month" placement, and every photo submitted appears on a date square somewhere on the calendar.
