Datebook: September 25 - STOP Club, Wickliffe Mounds, Lily Pad Referrals

The Graves County Sheriff’s Department and the STOP Club host a prescription drug take-back event tomorrow night from 5:30 to 7:15, before the Graves County homecoming football game. Everyone is invited to bring unwanted, unused, or expired prescription medications for proper disposal. 

Wickliffe Mounds State Historic Site hosts a Community Day this Saturday from 9 to 5. The event features free admission for all. The Berryhills perform beginning at 11, and door prizes are given away at 1:30. More information is available at parks.ky.gov.

The Lily Pad at Easter Seals West Kentucky, the region's first medically-based childcare facility, is currently accepting medical referrals. The new program is Medicaid-based but also accepts private insurance. It gives family members or other caregivers of medically fragile children the ability to work or attend school during the hours the children are enrolled. For more information, call (270) 444-9687.
