The Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana are looking for volunteers to help lead small troops of elementary age girls. Training and mentoring provided. The Mayfield-Graves County Needline & Food Pantry holds its monthly senior citizens commodities distribution Friday morning from 8 to 10. The food commodities are for local senior citizens ages 60 and up who have been approved for the program. For more information or to find out if you qualify, call (270) 247-6333.
Paducah students in grades K-12 are invited to enter the 2014 Student Christmas Ornament Contest held by the City of Paducah. Ornaments should be non-breakable, 3-7 inches tall, and a half pound or less in weight. The deadline is November 14. Find a submission form and additional guidelines at paducahky.gov.
