Datebook: September 1 - 1850 Trades Fair, (R)EVOLUTIONary?, Angels Attic Donations

The Homeplace at Land Between the Lakes hosts an 1850s Trades Fair this Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. The fair highlights artists working in historic trades and crafts such as baking, pottery, bee keeping, salt making, tatting, woodworking, and more. Murray State University graduate assistant in history Rebecca Dames presents “(R)EVOLUTIONary? Exploring the Limits of Dynastic Individualism” this Thursday afternoon at 4 in Faculty Hall Room 201. Angel's Attic Thrift Shop seeks donations of clothing, furniture, appliances, household items, and toys. Sale proceeds benefit the Angels Community Clinic, which provides healthcare to the working uninsured in Calloway County. Bring donations to 972 Chestnut Street Monday through Saturday from 8 to 5.
