Datebook: October 9 - Who-Dun-It?, Trail Ride, Christmas Ornament Contest

The Woodlands Nature Station at Land Between the Lakes hosts the "Tame the Wild" Outdoor Kids' Festival this weekend. The event includes a Who-Dun-It? The Henry County Jr. Livestock Association holds its annual Trail Ride & Lunch this Saturday at Laurel Hill Cattle Company. The first ride out is at 10, lunch is at noon, and the second ride is at 1:30 p.m. For more information, call (731) 571-5890.

Paducah students in grades K-12 are invited to enter the 2014 Student Christmas Ornament Contest held by the City of Paducah. Ornaments should be non-breakable, 3-7 inches tall, and a half pound or less in weight. The deadline is November 14. Find a submission form and additional guidelines at paducahky.gov.
