It’s Monday, October 5. Bead artist Rosemary Kandt offers a Paper Bead Workshop this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Participants learn the basics as well as some more complex techniques while creating different styles and shapes of beads. Dr. Elaine Harriss, professor of music at the University of Tennessee at Martin, gives a recital of piano music by French composer Francis Poulenc tomorrow night at 7:30 in UTM’s Blankenship Recital Hall. The program includes the "Sonata for Two Pianos" with Dr. Harriss and Dr. Johnathan Vest. The event is free and open to the public.
