Broadway United Methodist Church and Fountain Avenue Methodist Church host the Blessing of the Animals this Saturday from 11 to 2 at 701 Broadway in downtown Paducah. Bring pets on leashes. Microchipping is available, and pets from the McCracken County Humane Society and McCracken County Animal Shelter are available for adoption. Dog and cat food donations are accepted.
Murray State University holds an ACT Prep Workshop at the Hopkinsville Regional Campus on Saturday, October 18, from 9 to 1. The workshop includes extra practice for the English and reading sections. Pre-registration is required at murraystate.edu/actprep.
