The Murray State University Department of Music presents the 2014 Quad State String Festival tonight beginning at 5 in Lovett Auditorium. The performance features 378 string students in grades K-12 performing in four different ensembles. The concert is free and open to the public.
The Western Kentucky Affiliate of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network hosts a PurpleLight event this Sunday evening from 7 to 8 at Shelter #16 in Noble Park.
