Datebook: October 24 - Ghost Tour, String Festival, PurpleLight Vigil

Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs hosts a Voices from the Past Ghost Tour tomorrow night from 5-7. Guides lead visitors every 15 minutes on a walking tour through the cemetery where historical figures from Dawson Springs' past come to life. To reserve a spot, call (270) 797-4496. 

The Murray State University Department of Music presents the 2014 Quad State String Festival tonight beginning at 5 in Lovett Auditorium. The performance features 378 string students in grades K-12 performing in four different ensembles. The concert is free and open to the public.

The Western Kentucky Affiliate of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network hosts a PurpleLight event this Sunday evening from 7 to 8 at Shelter #16 in Noble Park. The event remembers those who have lost their battle against pancreatic cancer and honors pancreatic cancer survivors. For more information, visit purplelight.org.
