The world became thrilled on this day in 1982, when Michael Jackson released his sixth studio album, Thriller. Seven of the nine songs reached the Billboard Top 10. In one year the album became (and remains) the best-selling album of all time. And it won eight Grammy awards. Don't even get me started on the music video... The Paducah Symphony Youth Orchestra presents their winter concert on Sunday at 2PM at Paducah Tilghman High School Auditorium. The orchestra is made up of young musicians from McCracken and Graves Counties. Admission is $10 for adults and free for students. Purchase tickets by calling 444-0065.
The Paducah School of Art offers their second annual Holiday Art Sale this weekend at the Clemens Center Gallery. The sale features unique works of art by students and faculty members, including ceramics, photography, paintings, drawings, sculpture, jewelry, and fabric art. Hours are tomorrow from 10 to 6 and Sunday from 11 to 3.
