In honor of Samuel Clemens’s 180th birthday, Robert Valentine presents “Twain Remembers” Monday night at 7:30 in Murray State University’s Johnson Theatre. The one-night performance features Valentine’s interpretation of American author and humorist Mark Twain. Admission proceeds benefit Playhouse in the Park and the MSU Department of Theatre.
The Nature Station at Land Between the Lakes offers an Eagle Encounter tomorrow afternoon at 3:30. Visit with the resident bald eagle during feeding time and learn more about bald eagles in Land Between the Lakes. Hear about the successful restoration program that brought them back to the wild, how their population is doing currently, and how to view them in the wild.
Christmas in the Park opens tomorrow night at Murray’s Central Park. Drive through the park to view the light and music displays. Admission is a monetary or canned good donation benefiting Need Line, which provides assistance with food, utilities, rent, and more to members of the community.
