The 9th annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner is Thanksgiving Day at the Murray Banquet Center, located at 926 South 12th Street in the Bel Air Shopping Center. A traditional Thanksgiving dinner is served from 11:30 to 1. A brief nondenominational worship service is at 11 for anyone who would like to attend. The Hopkinsville Art Guild hosts its Gallery Christmas Bazaar through Dec. 24. Items for sale include paintings, photographs, wood turnings, jewelry, cards, ornaments, calendars, sculptures, and pottery items by regional artists. Hours are Tuesday through Friday from 2 to 6 and Saturday from 10 to 6.
The Yeiser Art Center in Paducah holds its first Downtown Tour of Homes Saturday afternoon from 12 to 4. All homes are decorated with Christmas décor, and a team of volunteers explain the history of the homes. All proceeds benefit the Yeiser Art Center. See details at theyeiser.org.
